cheap, poor quality retainers

Straps are to short and weak. I'm 5'7", weight about 120# and the straps are maxed if I.m wearing coveralls. The straps would not lock (cheap plastic snaps) on a larger person. That said the actual shin guard appears strong enough to protect your legs.
